Each of the Foundation’s achievements was made possible thanks to close cooperation with partners in Ukraine and abroad. Together with them, Ukrainу Charity creates real changes in Ukraine and implements projects that improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Ukraine Charity as a registered charity in England and Wales is subject to annual audit in line Charity Commission requirements. The latest examined annual report is available on Charity Commission website. Our current auditor is Monahans chartered accountants. Ukraine Charity is honored to have become a pro-bono client of a leading international law firm Covington.
Covington helps Ukraine Charity to implement best practice compliance policies and procedures. Ukraine Charity received donation from Oracle and currently implementing NetSuite ERP system for charities administration and financial reporting which aims to improve efficiency of our internal operations. Ukraine Charity is proud to have been one of the first charities to receive support from fundraisers initiated by our friends and long-term volunteers working for EBRD, as well as a matching donation from the EBRD Community Initiative, totalling approximately £395k.
These funds were used to purchase vital medical equipment and supplies to help the wounded and traumatized in Ukraine, including tourniquets, Celox, first aid kits, ultrasound devices, and training for doctors working in the area of mental health.
Recipients of this medical equipment and supplies include the Ukrainian Medical Association of the United Kingdom, the I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National University, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Plast, and the Smart Medical Aid Foundation. Ukraine Charity is grateful for the support of EBRD and its volunteers, which has enabled the organization to make a significant impact on the lives of those affected by the conflict in Ukraine.
