The evening program includes:

  • Welcome drink reception with a live flute and saxophone performance by Alex Smirnov
  • Charity silent auction
  • Classical concert featuring a fine selection of international and Ukrainian classical compositions performed by Sasha Grynyuk (piano), Oksana Sliubyk (soprano), Maya Irgalina (piano), Stefan Bulyha (clarinet), Svitlana Shamina and Kristina Fedorniak (Piano duo).

All raised funds will go to support the Ukrainian Superhumans Centre!

About the Centre: Established in April 2023 in Lviv, Western Ukraine, the Centre provides essential services to individuals who have lost limbs due to Russian aggression. Notably, the First Lady of Ukraine serves on its board, and it operates closely with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health. The Superhumans Centre offers comprehensive rehabilitation services, including physical, psychological, and social support, and provisions for prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, and advanced medical training—all provided free of charge to beneficiaries.

Purpose of the Event: The aim is to raise money to rehabilitate those at the Superhumans Centre who have had amputations. One so-called ‘cycle’ includes consultations with doctors, sessions with a psychologist, classes with a physical therapist or hydrotherapist, and research, lasting 2-3 weeks. The cost of one cycle is $2000. Our goal is to raise funds to cover the rehabilitation cycle for ten patients who have become amputees as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
