Charity Auction and Dinner for Ukraine for Children`s Hospital in Dnipro

A grand total of more than GBP 100,000 was raised during the Auction & Dinner for Ukraine, held on March 23 at the historic Landsdowne Club in London.

Organised by Ukraine Charity and SMART Medical Aid, the event aimed to support a children`s hospital in Dnipro and the construction of Ukraine`s first indoor and healing garden.

The evening featured a keynote by renowned British neurosurgeon Henry Marsh and captivating musical performances by French-Ukrainian piano virtuoso Dimitri Naiditch, ENO mezzo-soprano Rozanna Madylus and a young Ukrainian singer Kvitka. The event had a special gastronomic touch, with famous Ukrainian chef Evgen Klopotenko supervising the preparation of the traditional Ukrainian dish, borsch, offered to the evening guests.

The programme also included an exciting auction with diverse and unique lots. The EBRD community initiative kindly matched the funds raised.
