Physiotherapy for Ukrainian Soldiers

Ukraine Charity Supports “Others Fund” Project: Physiotherapy for Ukrainian Soldiers

We are pleased to announce that Ukraine Charity is actively supporting the “Others_fund” project in Lviv, Ukraine, focusing on providing essential physiotherapy for Ukrainian soldiers. To address the specific needs of soldiers with soft tissue injuries, which account for approximately 40% of cases, we have facilitated the acquisition of the Gymna ShockMaster 300, a portable shockwave therapy device.

The Gymna ShockMaster 300 utilises cutting-edge technology to deliver safe and painless treatment for soft tissues. This innovative approach reduces the reliance on painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs, improving the overall recovery process. It has proven to be effective in treating knee injuries, ligament sprains, meniscal damage, as well as degenerative and inflammatory knee diseases commonly seen among soldiers. Additionally, it aids in the treatment of conditions like heel spurs, sprains, and inflammatory diseases of the Achilles tendon.

Under the expertise of professional physiotherapy specialists from the Sport Rehab Centre Differ, the soldiers will receive tailored physiotherapy sessions using the Gymna ShockMaster 300. With an average treatment time of just 10 minutes, this advanced device offers immediate pain reduction enhanced mobility, and stimulates metabolism while addressing fibrosis and calcifications. The total budget allocated for this project is £8,995.

Ukraine Charity is committed to supporting the well-being and recovery of Ukrainian soldiers, and we are proud to contribute to the “Others_fund” project by providing vital physiotherapy resources.
