Ukraine Charity is honoured to be one of the first charities to have received support from fundraisers initiated by our friends and long-term volunteers working for EBRD, especially a matching donation from EBRD Community Initiative, in the total amount of around £395k. Funds that were thus raised were used to purchase vitally needed medical equipment and supplies to help the wounded and the traumatised in Ukraine, including tourniquets, Celox, first aid kits, ultrasound devices and training for doctors working in the area of mental health. The recipients of such medical equipment and supplies include the Ukrainian Medical Association of the United Kingdom and the I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National University, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Plast, Smart Medical Aid Foundation.
